Spending time with students and staff, hearing their ideas, and learning together is always grounding for me. The curiosity, confidence, and care these young people show for one another is a reminder of why education rooted in culture, language, and community matters so deeply.

 

Thank you to the students for welcoming me with such openness, and to the teachers and staff for the work you do every day to support and uplift your learners. Squiala Community School is a special place, and I’m grateful for the chance to spend time there.
